I am a professional Artist and Iconographer. My medium involves a mixed-media technique of Pyrography (wood burning), stain, paint, and semi-precious stones. I seal each of my works with a clear coat to protect the final product. From wall art to furniture, no wooden surface is unimaginable! St. Theresa's Fiat will be on display in Alexandria, VA - October 18th

at the 2014 Carmelite Institute Art Show - Reimagining St. Theresa in Art, 
Virginia Theological Seminary, Alexandria, VA!

Re-imagining St. Theresa's Fiat in light of her ecstasies; transposing Bernini's arrow into she lovingly receiving her feather quill as it pierces her heart and sparks her passions.  His love and inspiration pours into her as sparkling light through the Holy Spirit as she looks on adoringly. To her left is a darkness, representing her struggles with her own long, dark night accented with slivers of hope. Above her are scrolls representing her many penned works and treatises of the Baroque Catholic Reformation era, blessed by our Father in Heaven, transforming her into a Doctor of the Church.
